The Breathing Bubble

The animated guide that paces every round — and, in the app, bends to your physiology.

Feature

What it is.

A circle that grows on the inhale and shrinks on the exhale, counting your thirty to forty breaths, then holding still through the retention and the recovery.

Use

How it works.

Set the number of breaths per round, change the tempo, choose background sounds, connect your playlist. YouTube cannot accommodate highly personal physiologies; the app can.

Meaning

Why it matters.

Pacing is everything: too fast and you strain; too slow and the alkalosis never arrives. The bubble is the teacher when Wim is not in the room.

A cold shower a day keeps the doctor away.
Wim Hof
Never in or near waterWim Hof Method breathing, when done intensely for multiple rounds, can in rare cases lead to loss of consciousness. Always practice seated or lying down, in a neutral space such as a living room — never in water, in the shower, while driving, or operating machinery. Read the safety doctrine.
