The Rank System

A path with no endpoint, borrowed from martial arts and absent from every wellness app: practitioner levels, the teaching path, and the Elder Council.

Definition

What it is.

Levels one to ten on the practitioner path — cold tolerance milestones, retention progression, consistency streaks, verified by app and biometrics. Guide, Instructor, Master Instructor on the teaching path. Elder Council on the stewardship path.

Moat

Why no one else has it.

Ranks give people identity, not just access. Nobody else has a dojo.

Experience

How it will feel to use.

A ring on your profile that everyone recognizes; a ceremony when it changes; your teacher's name on the record, and the names of those you taught.

Protects

What it protects.

The method from fragmenting into schisms; practitioners from drifting away.

Era

When it arrives.

Era I of the fifty-year arc.

The Four Eras

Never in or near waterWim Hof Method breathing, when done intensely for multiple rounds, can in rare cases lead to loss of consciousness. Always practice seated or lying down, in a neutral space such as a living room — never in water, in the shower, while driving, or operating machinery. Read the safety doctrine.
