Snorkel in Arctic water alongside wild orcas and humpbacks during the herring run — the ultimate test of calm in cold. Liveaboard yacht, chef on board.

Beyond the brochure

The real story.

Every winter the herring come into the fjords north of Tromsø, and the orcas follow, and for a few weeks you can float in the water beside them.

It is dark, and cold, and there is a whale the length of a bus turning under you, and the whole method comes down to one thing: breathe slowly.

The yacht is warm and the chef is good and nobody sleeps much.
